About Us
The Association for the Promotion and development of inline and ice skating in Israel was established in 2008 in order to promote the field of ice hockey, roller hockey, and artistic skating in Israel.
The association was established by fanatics for the sport doing their best to help the northern residents of Israel (but not only) , in particular the confrontation line towns & cities - when the head of the association is Mr. Shimon Ben Tov.
The association operates in all sectors that make up Israeli society regardless of religion, nationality, race, sex, political relevance or general status.
The association strives to raise the awareness for these sports, to develop self-discipline and fair Sporting behavior.
The association will provide educational framework and acquiring leisure culture that may halt the growing dropout from schools and provide a framework in which children and adolescents can develop their talent and shaping their personality .
Our Goals:
Running activities for children and youth on roller skates in the confrontation line communities in northern Israel.
Teaching the fundamentals of skating, ice/roller hockey, and artistic skating.
Helping children and youth from pour families to express themselves of the field, and providing them with basic equipment to enable them to participate in our activities due to high cost of the equipment required.
Initiating events and social gatherings by holding tournaments for roller hockey, ice hockey, festivals of artistic skating and hockey leagues for children, youth and adults.
The association provides training for young instructors who have the skill required, for the promotion of rollerblades skating in Israel.
The association works towards coexistence and brotherhood between Jews and Arabs and approximation of hearts, between the two peoples living here by establishing groups and clubs in the Arab sector.
The association assists in planning and establishment of appropriate venues for the sport and provides guidance for municipalities to promote the sport.
Road safety and safety in general are ourbusiness as well! The increase in accidents had brought us to work with children, holding lectures in public parks to illustrate the need to engage in struggle against accidents.
